In case you haven't heard, Charleston's own Elise Testone is in the top 24 of American Idol contestants at the moment, and would love to have your support when the voting starts. Also, Charleston band The Explorers Club just came out with their second album, Grand Hotel, which is getting rave reviews from all over. Ryan Bonner also just released a cd, Think of England, which is really excellent. So check these guys out when you get a chance!

Don’t Forget: The Lowcountry Blues Club now has TWO weekly jam nights. Smokey’s Place Sports Bar & Grill at 1213 Remount Road in North Charleston hosts a weekly jam from 5 pm to 9 pm on Sunday’s. And there's the regular Wednesday night jam at Home Team BBQ/West Ashley, 8pm.
