Greetings Blues Fans,

The dates have been set for the 2nd Annaul Lowcountry Blues Challenege 2010. Sunday August 15, 22, 28, 2pm - until will be the prelimanary rounds. Sunday September 19 will be the finals. The winners of the challenege will be nominated to represent the Lowcountry in Memphis Tn at the International Blues Challenge 2011. This will be held in February of 2011, If you wish to represent the Blues from the Lowcountry get ready! More info to follow.......

This Saturday at Smokey's Place Bar & Grill the Highway 17 Blues Band will be preforming at 9:00 so head on out if you're looking for burgers beers blues, and a good time. For more information please visit www.myspace.com/highway17bluesband.

Don't forget to come out to the Lowcountry Blues Club jams, every Wednesday night at Home Team Barbecue/ West Ashley, starting around 8pm. Musicians (except drummers) bring your own instruments. And bring money to pay your dues if you haven't yet joined for 2010 -- $10 for individuals, $25 for a family or band, $100 corporate, under 21 is free!
