Check out Spotify!

Hi Blues lovers -

Have you heard about the new internet music service called Spotify? It's a service that has been in Europe for awhile, with rave reviews, but is new in the U.S. If you join, you can have access to millions of songs, and the basic service is actually free! The free version comes with ads, but they are not too intrusive. And since the ads pay for the music (like on the radio), I'm not complaining. Or you can choose to pay $5 or $10 a month if you want no ads, and extra features. Check out for more info, and to request an invitation to join. You may have to wait for your invitation, but probably not too long. You can then link your Spotify account to your facebook account, if you choose to, and share music with your friends. Very cool!

In Blues Club news, we still have a few spots open for the Lowcountry Blues Challenge Battle of the Bands. But better act fast - email for information.
