Buzzards and jams

Cretinous buzzards strike again! As you may recall, friends of the Blues Club, rock band LESLIE, had their equipment stolen while on tour in Delaware back in November of 2010. Here we go again… earlier this week more of our friends were hit. HOMEMADE WINE, whose travel base is here in Charleston, had their entire equipment trailer stolen while at home in Knoxville, TN. For a complete list of the hot equipment, look for Homemade Wine the Band at: Meanwhile, show them some support this weekend as they will be at Wild Wing’s downtown this Saturday. Maybe you can drop a buck or two into the tip jar! Meanwhile, buy their new release: “Barstools, Broken Hearts, and Songs From The Road” at CD Baby or iTunes… Remember, it’s the Holidays. SHARE THE GIFT!

Friday, Dec 9: A Fragile Tomorrow plays at the Village Tavern in Mt Pleasant, along with two other bands. Poppa DuPree, JoJo, and Big Daddy Dale will be at Captain Ikes's Bar and Grill,1168 Trojan Rd.(Hwy 45), 843 753 7720, Cross, SC, 9pm.

Saturday: Sarah Cole & The Hawkes along with Tidal Jive are at Loggerheads starting at 2pm for their Holiday Oyster Roast
Homemade Wine will be at The Wild Wings downtown
Starling (w/ Captain Kirk) at Smokey’s Place

Don’t Forget: The Lowcountry Blues Club now has TWO weekly jam nights. Smokey’s Place Sports Bar & Grill at 1213 Remount Road in North Charleston hosts a weekly jam from 5 pm to 9 pm on Sunday’s. And the regular Wednesday night jam is at Home Team BBQ/West Ashley.
